Neighbors are very important in the towns of the former Soviet Union, and the"good neighborhood-culture" is nowhere so strong like in the large block-regionsput up in Communist times."Akhmeteli 4" is a personal documentary about life in the neighborhood.The director grew up in the Akhmeteli Street no. 4, but he has left his country more than ten years ago and went to live abroad. With a camera in the hand he goes back to his hometown.Through the warm and intimate portraits of the people living in "Akhmeteli 4", the film becomes a larger image of life in nowadays Georgia.
