Bakur Bakuradze has graduated from VGIK (Russian State Institute of Cinematography), his master was a well-known, cult soviet director Marlen Hutsiev, Within the filmography of Bakur Bakuradze there are documentary, historical, publicistic, short feature films and serials. The historic-documentary film “Ministry of Finance Epoch”, devoted to the 200 anniversary of the Ministry of Finance of Russia was shown on Russian TV in 2002. Recently Bakur Bakuradze is trying to create films which can be characterized as art-house unless they were not so rationally thought over beginning from the script and ending by the structure of every shot.
Dmitry Mamuliya has got his degree at the philosophical faculty of Tbilisi University. At the present time he is finishing the High Film Directors Courses. His master was Iraklli Kvirikadze. One of his priorities is video-art production in which he can combine his draughtto philosophical metaphysics with vividimpressiveness of the cinema art.
