 PASCAL AUBIER (FRANCE)
Pascal Aubier was born in Paris in 1943. he gradueted Philosophy, Anthropology and Eastern languages from Sorbonne. Started shooting while he was 19 years old. In 1963/64, he becomes the assistant of Claude Chabrol, Eric Rhomer, Jean Rouch, Jean-Daniel Pollet and of Jean-Luc Godard. Pascal Aubier realezed his first short films since 1965. It obtained many prices, including price of Jean Vigo in 1973. Collaborated with Raphael Sorin, Otar Iosseliani, Eduardo de Gregorio, George Perec, Patrick Modiano, Tonino Benacquista, Large Larry as a screenplay. He directed about 11 features. He played in
O. Ioseliani’s films: Favorites of the Moon (1985), Chasing Butterflies (1993), Monday Morning (2002), Gardens in Autumn (2006). In the present time he works at the One Day In Tbilisi.
